My Dog Tasha - Eye Testimony

Further to our meeting of tonight and discussions regarding my dog who has been diagnosed with Glaucoma back in September 2008, please find below a brief information what took place:

On 9th September 2008, Tasha had a bad cough that would commence in the morning but subside at night, especially when she is laying down and resting. I kind of did not think much of the cough due to no sign of continuous strain in the afternoon. After a third day, she came running into my office bleeding through her nose after having a bad cough attack and I immediately took her to Pascoe Vale Veterinary Hospital. On arrival they checked her out and took all types of tests, X-Rays etc., etc. I had to leave her overnight. The next day when I collected her from the hospital, I noticed that her right eye had a strange glare of white through it and asked the vet to check it out. He advised me to keep an eye on it and to make an appointment to see an eye specialist. At the same time he tested the pressure in the eye and advised that the pressure was a lot higher than the other left eye. I made an appointment to see the specialist for 18th September as could not get in any earlier and after paying my bill of $2300.00 went home. Tasha was given medication to take every day for the cough.

On Sunday 14th September, my daughter with her husband and I with my partner went to dinner to celebrate my birthday, on return home, we found Tasha in a very bad state. She could not walk or breathe or for that matter see. Her eye was totally covered with puss and blood. All she could do is squint with her painful eye, as she honestly was in a lot of pain and cried. I nursed her all night as did not know what to do and in the morning we took her back to the hospital. The vet injected her with morphine to stop the pain and managed to get her in to see the specialist at 4.00pm on that day.

The poor little thing was so sad and ill, she could not stand on her two feet.

On arrival at the specialist, he tested her eyes and confirmed that Tasha had Glaucoma and will never regain her sight back. The next step is to operate and remove the bad eye and replace with glass eye. She would not go through any trauma but would learn to accept her glass eye. He also told us that this has to be done quite quickly as she will continue to be in pain for a long time and during the course of this her eye would dry up and turn like a sultana. I told him that I had to think about this as could not put the poor little pup through more trauma than she already was.

After $230.00, we took her home.

As soon as we got home, I called my sister Kathy and told her what happened. She immediately came over and introduced the pain and energy patches for Tasha including Y-Age. I told her that she was insane, but let her do what she was intending to do. She begged me to continue placing the patches on Tasha every day for at least a week 20 minutes morning and night and if there is not change then to do what I need to do.

Well, well, the next day Tasha was feeling better, although she did sleep a lot. I took Kathy's advice and placed Y-Age Patches and Energy Patches as per instructions. I also placed Ice Wave twice a day above her eye. I was astonished to see the results quite quickly. Within a week, Tasha was her old self, her eye cleared up and no sign of puss. As a result of this, I have been patching up Tasha since on and off and there is a great improvement. At times, I actually think that she can see with her right eye, but then other days not so. There is still a slight white film over one side of the eye, but the eye looks almost the same as the left one.

I took Tasha back to the hospital for a check up just before Christmas and the vet told me that she has gained slightly her sight back. I am keeping calm and not paying too much attention to this, as deep down inside, I feel that one day very soon Tasha will gain her sight back completely.

For your information, I have attached a photo of Tasha during her bad time when she could not open her eye due to its bad condition and a new picture as a result of patches which was taken on 11th November 2008. , two months after. Now she is looking much better and her eye is almost normal.
